Eberhard H. Röhm is a partner of Duane Morris LLP in New York and San Diego. He is a member of the Corporate and International Practice Groups. He is widely recognized as one of the leading attorneys practicing in cross-border transactional matters between U.S. and German companies. He has extensive experience in representing and advising clients in corporate M&A, securities, and corporate finance. He assists clients in social responsibility initiatives such as codes of ethics and compliance strategies as well as in enforcement proceedings under securities laws, PATRIOT Act, FCPA, price fixing and cross-border U.S. and German government enforcement efforts. Working in multidisciplinary teams of legal, tax and business professionals on complex transactions and cases, Eberhard advises European and other foreign clients on the legal aspects of their business activities in the United States and compliance with U.S. laws in connection with their U.S. activities. He is Co-chair of the Committee on International Banking, Securities and Financial Transactions of the New York State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in New York, Illinois and in Germany. He holds law degrees from Fordham University and the Universities of Heidelberg and Bonn.
